Kendrick Cox to Director, Human Resource Business Strategy and Solutions at Walgreens
Kendrick Cox has been named Director, Human Resource Business Strategy and Solutions at Walgreens. Walgreens is the nation’s largest drugstore chain with net sales of $72 billion; 248,000 employees; and 8,582 locations. Walgreens is committed to helping people get, stay, and live well.
In this role, Kendrick provides strategic human capital support to the HR function and manages the HR teams who support IT, Continuous Improvement, Call Center Operations, Legal, and the Corporate Communications divisions.
Prior to joining Walgreens, Kendrick served in various roles at CNA Insurance, including Director, Organizational Change Management; Human Resource Consulting Director; and Senior Human Resource Consultant. He also served as Human Resources Generalist at Fannie Mae.
Kendrick is an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, receiving a B.S. in Economics, Human Resources Management. He has received certifications in Organizational Performance Management from Georgetown University and Change Management from PROSCI. He also has completed the Executive Education Program, Strategic Human Resource Management at University of Michigan, Ross School of Business.
Kendrick is a native of Washington, DC and enjoys hobbies of international travel, bowling, and photography. He and his spouse live in downtown Chicago.
