Rocco (Rocky) Mangiarano to Vice President Human Resources & Administration, North America for Louis Dreyfus Commodities
Rocco (Rocky) Mangiarano has been appointed as Vice President, Human Resources & Administration, North America for Louis Dreyfus Commodities. Louis Dreyfus is a global merchandiser of commodities, a major asset owner, and a processor of agricultural goods. Louis Dreyfus helps to feed and clothe up to 500 million people annually.
Prior to his appointment, Rocky served in various director, consultant, and vice president roles, including Senior Consultant at The Andre Group; Director, Compensation, Benefits & HR Systems at JMC Steel Group; Vice President, Global Compensation, Benefit & HR Systems at Global Crossing; Chief Human Resources Officer at Myron Manufacturing; and Director, Global Compensation, Benefits & HR Systems at Engelhard Corporation.
Rocky received a BBA in HR Management from City University of New York-Baruch College. He also completed Executive Development Programs at the University of Michigan-Stephen M. Ross School of Business, in Compensation Design and Analysis and in Advanced Human Resources.
Rocky has participated in fund-raising for the annual Gala for the Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Jersey, as well as volunteering for other annual events. Children’s Specialized Hospital is the pre-eminent provider of pediatric rehabilitation services and the largest pediatric rehabilitation health system in the United States. The hospital serves children affected by brain injury, spinal cord dysfunction and injury, premature birth, autism, developmental delays, and life-changing illnesses.
In his free time, Rocky enjoys travel, playing golf, watching hockey, baseball and football, as well as reading, movies, and spending time with family and friends. His relocation to Connecticut for this new role will provide him the opportunity to re-engage with family and friends after spending two wonderful years in the Windy City!
