Alan Tecktiel to HR Leader for Global Services at Baker & McKenzie LLC
Alan Tecktiel has been appointed HR Leader for Global Services at Baker & McKenzie LLC. Most recently a consultant at B&M, Alan will now be providing worldwide HR leadership on a permanent basis, including performance management, compensation consulting, talent acquisition, employee relations, global mobility, and process redesign. Baker & McKenzie is the largest law firm in the world, with over 11,000 employees in over 70 countries.
Prior to joining B&M, Alan was Senior HR Director at McDonald’s Corporation, where he completed the Leadership at McDonald’s Program, an accelerated leadership program for high-potential employees.
A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Alan is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and serves as co-chair of the West Suburban Interest Group of the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC). He is also a pro bono consultant for the Taproot Foundation, where he has led initiatives including an HR capacity build project for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago.
Alan is an avid networker and welcomes all connections. When not engaged in the world of HR, he spends his time dreaming of the Cubs in the World Series and listening to live music in small spaces where he can sit.
